PHOTO provide programs relating to education and training for perioperative personnel to seek accreditation of their programs by CNE Accreditation under the Hong Kong Nursing Council CNE accreditation framework. Courses are validated by the PHOTO Subcommittee of the Education Committee.
PHOTO is the accredited Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) provider by Nursing Council of Hong Kong.

PHOTO Endoscopy Course 2018 (May-July 2018)
Theme
The purpose of the Endoscopy Course is to facilitate OR, endoscopy center, clinic nurses to understand the development, structure, special features and the procedures of utilizing flexible endoscopes.
Objectives
At the end of the course, participants should be able to demonstrate measurable skills of
- The infection control measure of the using flexible endoscopy, including reprocessing and disinfecting the endoscopes.
- The nursing management measure while handling endoscopes and related monitoring system pre-operatively, intra-operatively and post-operatively of the examination procedures.
- The student would be able to indicate the features of different flexible endoscopes.
